The weather in Milders

Tyrol and its climate

Tyrol has many different small-scale climate variations, which can show major differences. On the whole, Tyrol is part of the temperate zone, with continental, Atlantic and Mediterranean influences.

The climate in the Stubaital

Whatever activities you have planned for your holiday with us at Milderer Hof, the Stubaital is a many-faceted travel destination throughout the year. On the Stubai Glacier, the skiing season already starts from the middle of September, and lasts into June. The months May/June to the end of September are the best months for hiking, climbing and cycling. Midsummer in July and August boasts splendid days for bathing and trips up onto the peaks.
But the Stubaital also offers mild and dry days in all regions, even in late autumn, in October and November, often accompanied by impressively beautiful visibility: perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities!
When spring arrives in the valley in March and activity gradually shifts from the pistes back down to the valleys, the colorful dance of varied sporting and leisure options starts all over again. We cannot really give a recommendation for “the best time to travel to the Stubaital”, because there is always so much to experience here with us!
